Privacy

Last updated October 8, 2026

CS Armoury has no accounts and asks for no personal details. Most of what you do here stays in your own browser.

Stored in your browser

  • Your watchlist, price alerts, portfolio and trade-up drafts, kept in local storage. Clearing your browser data removes them.
  • Display settings: theme and colour-blind price colours (local storage) and your currency (a cookie named cur, kept for a year).
  • The last few Steam profiles you valued on the inventory page.

What reaches our server

  • Inventory lookups send the SteamID or profile name you enter to Steam to read the public inventory. The result is held in memory for ten minutes so repeat visits don't hit Steam again; it isn't saved.
  • When you follow a link to a marketplace we count the click by day, marketplace and item, so we know which links are useful. Nothing about you is recorded with it.
  • Like any website, the server sees standard request details (address, browser) while serving a page.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools get used. It sets cookies (named _ga) to tell a return visit from a new one, and sends Google the pages you view, your browser and device type, and a rough location worked out from your address. Read how Google uses this data in its partner policy, or opt out with Google's opt-out add-on.

Ads and affiliate links

Some links to marketplaces are affiliate links: if you buy through them the marketplace may pay us a commission, at no extra cost to you. The marketplace you land on may set its own cookies to attribute the referral, under its own privacy policy. Commissions never affect prices, rankings or which markets we list.

Ad spaces currently show only our own tools and set no cookies. If we add an ad network, this page will name it first.
